Five Authors I really Want To Meet
1. Eloisa James
New York Times bestselling author Eloisa James writes historical romances for HarperCollins Publishers. Her novels have been published to great acclaim. A reviewer from USA Today wrote of Eloisa's very first book that she "found herself devouring the book like a dieter with a Hershey bar"; later People Magazine raved that "romance writing does not get much better than this." Her novels have repeatedly received starred reviews fromPublishers' Weekly and Library Journal and regularly appear on the best-seller lists.
2. Julia Quinn
She's the author of my favorite historical romances like the Bridgerton's series, THE SMYTHE-SMITH QUARTET... basically I love All her books.
3. Richelle Mead
Scorpio Richelle Mead is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of urban fantasy books for both adults and teens. Originally from Michigan, Richelle now lives in Seattle, Washington where she works on her three series full-time: Georgina Kincaid, Dark Swan, and Vampire Academy.
A life-long reader, Richelle has always loved mythology and folklore. When she can actually tear herself away from books (either reading or writing them), she enjoys bad reality TV, traveling, trying interesting cocktails, and shopping for dresses. She's a self-professed coffee addict and has a passion for all things wacky and humorous.
4. J.J Mcavoy
I absolutely love her Ruthless People trilogy and standalone book Black Rainbow.
5. Chloe Neill
Her Chicagoland Vampires series is so amazing!
Yes! So much yes! Absolutely adore Eloisa James and Julia Quinn! It would be absolutely amazing to meet both of them!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read books by any of these authors, but I've heard of most of them. Maybe one day for you!
ReplyDeleteI love Julia Quinn's work! If I'd written a whole list of ten for myself, instead of splitting the list with the hubby, I would have added her :) She was kind enough to answer one of my questions on Goodreads, so it was the next best thing to speaking with her in person. Can't wait for what she had in store next.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these authors yet but I definitely will check them out!

ReplyDeleteHi. From the authors you mentioned, even though I know three of them, I've only read Eloisa James. I really enjoy her work. As soon as I pick one of her books (I only know the titles in Portuguese), I just find impossible to put it down.
ReplyDeleteHappy readings!
OH a huge yes to Chloe Neill and Richelle Mead! I'm reading Chloe's Chicagoland Vampires now and I love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog earlier and commenting on my list. It was interesting to see what others like and in your case, that you also love Jane Smiley. I have never heard of your authors, I think I generally read a different kind of genre but it's always interesting to find new books. So, thanks again.
