Husband Hunters

Clementine, a psychologist specialising in couples counselling, is reeling from the discovery that her boyfriend is married. Annabel, an ex-model, only seems to attract men who want her as a trophy. Daniela, a civil engineer, is stuck in the friendzone.
Abandoning the romantic notions of true love that haven't worked out for them, the three decide to use their considerable professional skills to find a partner. This isn't about hearts and flowers; it's about being practical.

Warm and witty, Husband Hunters is about what happens when you try to engineer love.

When I saw this book on NetGalley I was mildly curious because the cover was amazing, another evidence of me being a cover whore and the second was because of the very intriguing synopsis. Although from the things listed above I should have already read this book the time I got approved for this, I tried pushing it further and further because I was afraid it would turn out horrible.

To cut the story short, I reached the point where until the book was almost Archived so I had to read it. And that was a very big mistake on my part. Because this book was very entertaining and every character had their own unique story so I was like reading three books instead of one! This should've already made me loathe this book but the way it was written was made so fluently that the transitioning from one point of view to another wasn't awkward.

The book starts off with Clementine who had an almost perfect relationship with her boyfriend Jason who had a wife which she did not know until just recently.

Then there's Daniela. She was my favorite from all of them because she was very tomboyish and was an Engineer. A job that not a lot of females are welcome. She was in love with a guy who had been a part most of her life though he only treats her as a friend. ouch

Last but not the least is Annabel. A former model who now has a thriving PR Business which she totally adores. On first glance she may seem lacking in the brain department because of her beauty and previous job, she later proves all the misconceptions about her wrong with how she handled her business. They were college friends who lost contact and was reunited by an acquaintance's marriage and that was the start of their adventure.

I loved the fact that they were paired with people who they would never usually go for, like in the case of Annabel and also the fact that the dynamic between the girls was so engaging that no part of the book was a bore.

To end my review, I would just like to say that Husband Hunters was a wonderfully crafted piece of literary work that is perfect for woman and men alike who would like to sit down and relax with a very entertaining book. Received digital edition from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
