Before I answer this week's topic, I would like to share to you guys that I am hosting a giveaway for my one year anniversary blogging! I hope you ALL can join!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

This week's topic is:

How do you organize your books? Either at home on your bookshelves or on your reading-device, or on your bookish platform like Goodreads, Leafmarks or Booklikes. - Suggested by Unconventional Book Views.

Answer:

I try to organize my books on goodreads based on the genre and also the theme it has for example if I read a book where the hero is a billionaire, I would make a shelf for billionaire-romance. :)

How about you guys? How do you arrange your bookish shelves? Let me know!

  2. I'm terribly unorganised. None of my books, at home or on Goodreads, are organised other than read and TBR. Hope you have a great weekend!

  9. I use goodreads too - labels help but there's really no organization to my books on goodreads. My bookshelf at home is by author but I have too many so I gave up. LOL
    Thanks for stopping by!

  11. I've been trying to organize my goodreads but it doesn't always work out. I tend to forget. Awesome giveaway! I messed up my blog design and I have no idea how to fix it so this would definitely come in handy.

  12. I organize my books by genre, general genres though. I have them organized like that for my Goodreads and my actual bookshelves. My Kindle books aren't organized at all though!

  13. On my home book shelves I organize first by series, they get placed on their own shelves. All my stand-alone books are then organized by genre; within each genre I alphabetize by author's last name and then by title. I commit to buying all books within a series as either hardback or paperback and do the same for my authors. This way it all looks very nice displayed and yes I'm slightly obsessed Lol

Thanks for the awesome giveaway & congrats on the anniversary!! I'm now following you on all platforms :)

  16. My goodreads is organised, sort of. I need to tidy it up actually. However, my kindle is organised into what I'm reading, what I have left to read, challenges, ARC's etc.

  17. I love the idea of organizing your Goodreads by theme. I had never thought of doing that. I'm about to overhaul my goodreads shelves, and I may use that idea. New GFC follower!

  21. I do the same thing. On goodreads by genre, but also just content (i.e. instead of just paranormal, I have vampire, witch, general Halloween, etc.). New follower via GFC, Bloglovin', G+ and Twitter. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great week! :D

  22. I haven't participated in this meme for a long time. Maybe I'll go back to it. As for how I organize my books, I use Goodreads and Shelfari. However, many of the books I have listed on these sites are actually on my wish list, as I don't own them yet! Lol. As for my home shelves, they're actually organized by size. So I keep books of the same size together, because I think they look better that way on my shelves. Of course, this makes it harder to find a book in a particular genre or topic, but they SURE look impressive! Lol. Thanks for your thoughts, and enjoy your week! :: )
