Just Sing mixes in music and love to form one spectacular book. I have not been a fan of YA books due to the fact that some plots are just so normal and they're making a big fuss about it but this book wasn't what I expected.

This book was just so perfect! I loved that music was incorporated in this book and it reminded of High School Musical.

Between the arrival of her rich new neighbors and the cancelling of her school's vocal program, Lily is sure her summer is going to suck. She never thought that a simple friendship with the neighbor's son would give her the strength to walk away tried-and-true plan and follow her dreams.

Lily was a great heroine who loves her family very much and will do anything to though one major flaw she has was being very gullible. There was one scene in this book where someone showed her something that made her angry and sad and instead of confronting the person who she thought made the mistake and listen to his side of the story, she went sulking.

To be honest, I really did not like Aiden. He was very bipolar, his anger was sometimes very misplaced and he had so many secrets. Though I feel that he is somewhat a good guy, currently I am rooting for Jeremiah a character which will be introduced in the latter part of the book.

This book inspires individuals to believe in their selves and do anything (legal) to achieve their dreams in life.

Received digital copy from publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

  1. Thank you for your words, you have no idea what it does to an author when someone loves their book. If you liked book one, you're going to love book two :) My deepest thanks!
