Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parjunkee and Alison Can Read. This week's F&F topic/question is:
What are some of your favorite picture books - either current ones or ones from your childhood?

Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss is by far my favorite book from my childhood. Back in my kindergarten days, our teacher showed us this book to read. All of us still don't know how to read and this was the day where she would teach us how to. She showed us this book and asked us one by one to read it. She started calling out the smart ones first and since I was a rebel back in the days, I was the last one to be called. I knew from the look on their faces that they weren't expecting me to be able to read I wasn't smart but when I read the first page,

the look on their faces was so priceless. And that was the moment I became a bibliophile. It was one of the things that really made an impact to me and the joy I felt when I read the first page was so amazing I decided to read again and feel that joy all over again.

What are your favorite books from your childhood? Let me know down below!

  2. Thank you for stopping by at my FF!

I should have guessed from your comment what your book could have been, lol. That's an amazing story though. And obviously since you remember it, that was for sure a life changing moment.

  3. I always thought Dr. Seuss was a little bit scary, don't know why. There was something about the cat that freaked me out! But I can totally relate to your experience! I was one of the first in class who learned how to read and it just blew me away, all of the things I now had access to, all the worlds, all the stories etc. And I never really stopped reading again! I'm a new Bloglovin' follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

  5. Of course, I've read my share of Dr. Suess. It's a kid staple.

Just because you haven't read Berenstein Bears or The Little Critters doesn't mean you had a crappy childhood. It just means you missed out :P

I followed you on pinterest since I was already following you the other ways. I would love a follow back! :)
